How and where did you meet?: We met through mutual work friends while we were both living in San Francisco (we both work in Computer Security).

What was your first impression of each other?: Christina thought Sean was super smart and nice. Sean thought Christina was very funny and nice.

When did you know your partner was the one?: Not sure - it was gradual.

Tell us about your engagement moment.: We talked about getting engaged for months and then one morning we agreed to do it.

In what ways are you most alike/different?: We’re both open-minded and we have a similar sense of humor and set of interests and values.

What music or genre do you like the most?: Carly Rae Jepsen

What was your favorite vacation or trip?: Going to Japan during cherry blossom season and then Ireland in the summertime in 2023.

What are you looking forward to the most on your wedding day?: Connecting with our loved ones.

Christina and Sean “met” virtually on Slack while both diligently working and living their lives in San Francisco. In that bustling environment, they noticed and admired each other for an extended period, despite there being over 1000 people in their work chat room. The fact that they were able to connect amidst such a large group seems nothing short of fate, and one might say it’s a remarkable story of serendipity. Their officiant, affectionately known as “Mad Dog,” remarked, “Christina was attracted to Sean’s open-mindedness, thoughtfulness, and the depth of his taste within the shared interests they discovered, including film, text editors, and foreign media.” Haha! Christina expressed in her heartfelt vows, “I feel like the whole world is open to us. Like we can do anything together.”
